Retirement community gig

I went down to Rhode Island today to do a couple shows at a retirement home. The first show went well and was for the residents at the home. Probably around 30 showed up. The second show was also good and was for the family of one of the residents there, with about 14 people. Each show went about an hour, but I was able to mix in some different shots for each of them. It was a lot easier to get volunteers for the second one though. The football shot didn’t get a lot of applause in either show. I used the railroad shot as my opener and I think it’s a good one that people like. I’ll have to work on getting more a flow going instead of just thinking up shots on the spot. But it was fun either way. They even fed me dinner, which was well done.

So I got the 60 second version of the commercial, if the 30 second one wasn’t enough for you. Check it out!

I actually did the part at the end, but still didn’t get on film.

Back from LA

Just got back from the commercial shoot for Radiant Pictures and QP Corporation.  I had to get all dressed up and everything (I’ll post pictures soon) in a hot pink shirt, pink jacket, and red jeans.  It was pretty crazy.  I ended up having to set up the Smiley Face shot where five balls are set up in an arc near the center of the table and each one goes in to a different pocket on the shot.  The talent, Masaharu Fukuyama, is a good player and was able to make the shot on most of the takes.  We’ll see what the final version turns out like.  My hands may or may not end up making an appearance, but it was pretty exciting nonetheless, especially just to see how the filming and production worked.
